Somthin Fishy on Mill Street in Elora is the best takeout fish and chips EVER! The coldslaw is GREAT, the servings are generous, and the fries are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Our order was ready in less than 10 minutes. In the summer, we order ahead and go to the park across the street to sit and eat beside the river. Life doesn't get any better than this!

When it was with the WRDSB this was an excellent school. What made it special was that it made a reasonable comprimise to attract the more traditional Mennonite commities into a the public education system. There where some curriculum compromises and exceptions made by the school board regarding policies. Still the students were exposed to knowledge and given skills that they would not have received if they attended the parochial school system.
Closing this school is a profound loss.

The new sign out front is nice to see though the interior could still use some fixing up. In my mind however that is minor (how many of us eat in the shop?), The pizza is outstanding and service is fast and friendly.

Food is fabulous! Everything on the menu is amazing and very generous servings. You will never leave hungry. And the best caesar salad around! wings are huge and tasty. Only downfall is dessert selection-but the ones they offer are delicious. Worth the drive!!!

Went on Mothers Day worrying that we wouldn't get a table and wait for hours. The kind hostess mentioned that there was a wait but we were welcome to sit and eat at the bar.
We did and it was one of the best lunch experiences I've ever had. The restaurant was clearly busy, but the bartender made time to take care of us, engage in conversation, and overall ensure that we had a great lunch. He was pretty cute too..;) Everyone was in a great mood, everything was clean, and despite the volume, the staff were awesome.
I look forward to making a repeat visit and sampling other items on the apparently new menu....5 stars.
