I have to tell you, I don't normally write reviews but this place needed mentioning. We were going to the movies at Rainbow and saw that they had a "Dinner and Movie" deal. What a deal ! I bought a Mondo Burrito - it was freaking huge ! chips and guacamole, and a drink for $15 bucks and that included my $9 movie ticket ! You cant beat that deal anywhere. This place has the best bang for your dollar. The service is great the food is good. My wife, daughter and I all ate there the other night and had great meals . My daughter and I started with Cheddar and Ale soup ( Very Good) the wife shared ours. My daughter and I had the fish and chips while my wife settled on liver and onions. The fish and chips are fantastic even for someone who is not a big fish eater like my daughter. I had the double order of fish which I could barely eat it was so big. My wife loved the liver and onions, (liver onions is something that has to be cooked just right or it can go seriously wrong) The waitress was great. I have had the Chef's Hat Catering company cater many of my events as well as been at functions that they have catered. The food is excellent - it's fresh and plenty of it. In fact, there has always been more food than we can eat. The staff are very professional and helpful when you don't know what to order. They help with quantities for groups. The last event I was at, everyone there complimented the Chef's Hat and plan to use them for their functions. I personally have gone there for lunch and have found the staff to be friendly and you can't beat the lunch specials. Excellent price for the amount of food you get. Keep up the good work! Lire plus

A pleasant stop if you are in Ilderton, and especially if you are a fan of a pub atmosphere and cask conditioned ale. I've been here several times, and I usually stick with the nachos because they are a great value and are also quite tasty. But I have had the Steak and Guinness Pie which is also quite the treat. Service has always been great when I have been. I always get a few pints of cask ale when I go, and am never disappointed. It is always fresh and well kept. Rich is a true cellarmaster and knows his beer. As a result, this is a destination for lovers of true cask ale, and the only place in the south west of Ontario to try this unique style of ale. The atmosphere is comfy, nice booths, a bar to sit at, a seperate room with televisions for those inclined to watch a game, and there is also a large screen in the main room for the larger events. Overall, highly a recommended stop if you are in Ilderton or area. No where else near here can you get cask ale, great service, and really tasty food. I'll be back! Lire plus
