We are Maids Cottage regulars and have rarely if ever been disappointed. The food is as close to home cooked as you will ever get in any restaurant, in any city, anywhere in the world. We're not talking Haute Cuisine here but Comfort Food. Any of the rare times there has been anything that I didn't like or took to long (they can be very,very busy at times) the staff has been more than accommodating about making it right. It is no secret in this restaurant community as to the reason for certain negative reviews. It is just so sad and appalling that this is going on. My only wish is that the reviews being posted by “virtual” customers cease as it is becoming, quite frankly, very tiresome and extremely predictable. Let’s leave this space for “authentic” customers. It is incomprehensible how this continues. When success is achieved through honesty, morals and a strong work ethic it is a shame that those who do not share these qualities try to ride the coattails of those who do and take the low road by continually trying to defame them. I wish the family run La Mexicanada Restaurant continued success. After 9 years of backbreaking hard work and a strong devotion to their customers and paisanos they deserve nothing less. The food is 100% authentic, the recipes are from the owner’s own family, who by the way are an “authentic” Mexican family still residing in “authentic” Mexico. I loved the food at Golden Bell. Newmarket has a lot of Thai restaurants and while most of them are good, I feel this one greatly stands out as the best. They have a very inexpensive lunch menu and a quaint dining room if you don't opt for take-out. The service is nothing spectacular as far as dining in goes but it is passable. The Jambalaya was supurb. First time eating a Jambalaya dish. Originally, it called for shrimp, But I subbed those for scallops. The had NO problems doing that. It was full of Chicken, scallops, spicey italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and red onions in a creamy tomato sauce topped with a garnish of green onions. I have been to Waterfalls Lodge 6 or 7 times and have stayed a week each time. All of their cabins are located right on the water and they have about 10,000 acres of water on 7 adjoining lakes. Most times I go there I catch tons of HUGE smallmouth bass and lots of Walleye. The food is totally awesome and all of it is made from scratch. The Boats are some of the best I have fished from. We go there on the American Plan which includes Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. If you are interested in a great meal, great fishing, and a relaxing vacation then be sure to check out Waterfalls Lodge. The last couple of years we have come around the end of September and the leaves are absolutely spectacular. Lire plus

Wow ! What a great place to eat and have a good time. The food was delicious and and restaurant is beautiful now ! I was here for a party last week we had so much fun. They had music, people danced , great singer !! Our waiter made us laugh and is really good looking too . Last time i was here was 8 years ago and place looked kind of old fashioned and not well kept. Now they made changes in every way and I have to admit this restaurant is better than most in every way.
