Food is really good. Staff are friendly and service is fantastic. I was greeted at the door immediately and had a cold beer within 2 minutes. I ordered hot wings on my first visit and suicide wings on my second visit. The hot wings are not very hot so if you like hot, order the suicide.

We have visited many Italian reataurants throughout Ontario from Brockville to Niagara Falls, Oshawa to North Bay and Avanti's in Oshawa is number one. Not because we live here, because of the food, the service, the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of this establishment. Their Fusilli in Bianco is our favorite. We have dined there many times before Oshawa Generals Hockey games and Shows at the newly renovated Regent Theatre. And we are so proud to mention Avanti's everywhere we go. They bring out the pride in Oshawa when it comes to dining out.

What a treat we had in Port Perry after a couple of hours out on the water. The main dining room was full so we were shown a table in a private room which we had all to ourselves. Both the service and the food was excellent. The owner, Christie, was friendly and down to earth making us feel very welcome. A couple of us had food restrictions which were easily accommodated. The homemade ice cream was a exceptional way to end a delicious lunch. I’ll definitely go back!

My husband and I used Pickles & Olives Bistro for our wedding catering this past August. We had a small backyard tent wedding of about 70 people and I am beyond pleased we chose them to prepare our wedding meal. Mike the owner of Bella Notte has done a fabulous job on making such a quiant atmosphere. He has pictures on the walls of him and the generations before him and this is Italian history at its finest. I really enjoy supporting the local businesses in my neighbourhood and this one is very easy to become a regular at.
The food is amazing and is a great substitute for downtown Toronto dining. Bella Notte provides fresh food with unique flavors, it has a great wine selection, and always friendly service. You will need to expect however that on the weekends especially, it will be veryyyyy busy and the service may be slower than usual (standard for any restaurant really), so my advice to you is to purchase a great bottle of wine and enjoy the night with your loved ones. This establishment really gives you the time to enjoy your meal, wine and conversation which is not something done at your run of the mill franchises.
For a great dining experience and a taste of Italy, I highly recommend it!

The food is very good, fresh and definitely homemade.
The staff/owners are very friendly and wonderful with kids.
Child meals are large enough for 2 kids to share, and come with an ice-cream dessert!
Love the bright coloured decor and the ceramic topped tables, very mexican very vibrant, and I really like it when they play mellow mexican music, I can stay all day!
I've also been there in the evening for drinks and appetizers out on the patio, it was a very relaxing evening, enjoyed it very much and can't wait to go back when the warm weather returns.

We were heading to Lindsay last night for the Haunted House and wanted to go out for dinner first. Looked online and found the Olympia. Decided to give it a try. We were very impressed! The food was excellent, portion sizing perfect and the service was great!
We would definitely go back there if in the area again.
Only drawback was we were seated by the front door and it was chilly whenever the door opened and closed. So it would have been nicer to seat in a booth but the place was very busy when we arrived.

Went to this restaurant just yesterday and the server Shawn was great and very handsome. We got the Bruchetta with goat cheese added and it was fantastic and my friend and I both had the margarita pizzas. Ilfornello is definitely the place in Ajax to get pizzas no questions asked

The food was excellent and a reasonable price. Love the hamburger was homemade no frozen meat pad here, the chicken with bow ties pasta was amazing.
the appetizers was also great spinach/artichoke dip.

I held my husband’s 50th birthday party at Jesters on the upper floor and everything was handled perfectly. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and the management was so helpful and accommodating for all of my dietary requests, they set up the decorations and everything went perfectly, it was a a fun, fantastic party. So I took the 45 minute drive and it was well worth it.
By far the best ribs i have ever had! And again i like places that serve real home cooked food.

Evening was great however the “large plates” are not so large in food quantity. You see a large plate but the food is tiny. You cannot share these plates. We went for lunch once and their food plates had more food.

I brought my family to the Hyland this week and as always the food was excellent (and too much!) and the service was very friendly. Food is always delivered promptly, the restaurant is always clean, and overall, it is just a nice meal out with the family. I definitely recommend to any families visiting Port Perry. Us locals don't need convincing.

Our soccer team and parents, a party of 30+, invaded for lunch and we were really impressed with the service, the food, the atmosphere, everything was amazing! The server, Hunter, remembered everyone's names, no ones orders were mixed up, the separate bills were all correct... Considering the place was packed with other enthusiastic soccer fans, we couldn't have been happier with our experience! Would definitely reccomend.
