I have family that comes to visit who are unable to stay with us so we usually put them up at the Travelodge. The rates are fare and the staff are always so helpful. We like that the staff care for our family members and go out of their way to make them fell special. Thanks for all your assistance. The Taylers

Sidney Whale Watching, is a family run company and has been serving Sidney for over 15 years.
I have been to the Roost for lunch many times. It's just like a picnic.
Their sandwiches are terrific, the bread is fresh, the soup is delicious and homemade.

I liked the décor, the friendly staff & owners.I ordered the Salmon & Chips (fish & chips made with Salmon instead of Cod or Halibut, which they also had). The Salmon was Wild, & delicious. They have specials & Seniors day, which is nice. This was my second time here. The 1st time I took out of town guests from Okanagan who used to live on West Coast of Vancouver Island. The one request they made for when I was taking them out to dinner was fresh seafood. They loved it. I definitely will return.

We go here quite often. It is located away from the town of Sidney in the industrial area kind of. It is a great little family run restaurant. I usually get sandwich. My husband always gets their breakfasts. It isnt a very big restaurant and not alot of parking, but they make a good meal.

Their pre-Covid buffet was not huge, but the assortment was very very good and the quality was excellent and always fresh, being constantly renewed. Since Covid, we have been getting their take-out and it has never disappointed us. We always get too much and we really enjoy having the leftovers for breakfast the next day.

I read the reviews and went anyways. I found out they have NEW OWNERS! Just recently. So the reviews are old...Now there are Two super lovely ladies!! VY and Kathy, they are sisters..I had thee best Deluxe Pedicure and Manicure! I felt like a Queen! I have never written a review before. but these two ladies deserve it! Great location feels like a little street in Europe..with a fountain outside.
