Although, yes, this bank is a trust which it was an amalgamation, and had at least one teller. The other actual branch locations are very far away from me and highly inconvenient for me as I do not have a car.

Since moving to Calgary two years ago I've found the level of service at this branch to be exemplary. Of all of the Scotia branches on the West/Southwest of Calgary this is the heavy hitter: smart staff, quick moving lines and a space that is clean and well lit. The tellers have been a cut above, especially when you compare them to the other branches.
I've never encountered the rudeness the prior reviewer mentions. If anything my experiences have been the total opposite.

We have had great investment planning here, they sell all companies, etfs, not just one fund company lime so many. Our advisor has been amazing and we have referred him to friends and my mother uses him.

Decided to shop my business, home and auto since my last broker was sold or retired or disappeared (beats me)
These guys did it all - I didn't have to trust them as they showed me how they shopped the market on both my home and auto and business insurance. Best part is I have one broker for everything who seems thus far to always be available !

7th and 7th Downtown Calgary is my home branch, which I had to open up in 2008 when I moved there from Ontario, Well I have been back in Ontario for over a year now and had a unfortunate situation with my account. It was truly a out of luck- if by the BOOk thing. BUT a girl; Christian and a young fellow Jeff sorted things out for me, along with some non connected advice that came across as 2 people who actually cared without effort-this, at the branch level, it wasn't one one of those call center services. 2 months ago they had also called me up when my debit card was being used in a manner that was erratic to my history and use, thereby making sure my card was not in the wrong hands.
WELL BOTTOM Line is that with so many things I have had in the NEGATIVE banking thoughts; this Branch Takes the Cake and deserves to be recognized for their people skills, and THEY ALWAYS HAD Coffee available, sometimes even donuts.
