Dover Auto

one of the worst services I've seen, I don't recommend it in any way (I had to go through an inspection, they marked it with a red marker that is very difficult to erase (they unscrewed the protection and hood and from the trunk and put it in a clean interior) I didn't pass the inspection, I suspect they either wanted money or are trying to get money so that people go through their service again)

scan showed problem with cylinder 4 on my truck. Mechanic said it shouldnt be running that bad even if was only running on 7 cylinders. He took 2 hrs to dismantle exhaust lines to check for a problem there, installed an O2 sensor, finally pulled the spark plug to check compression on that cylinder which was basically none. Clearly this should have only cost me 15 min labor to pull plug. SCAN SAID CHECK CYLINDER 4. 2 hours labour and 68 for sensor to find engine dead. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I write this review to encourage as many as possible to consider patronizing Dover Auto Centre for all their vehicle concerns. These guys are real auto professionals. My wife and I got introduced to them by a friend and so far my car has enjoyed proper care through their expert and prompt services. Also, their attitude towards customers is so warm and friendly. I really recommend Dover Auto Centre for all kinds of Auto Care especially for Calgary city dwellers.Their services are also affordable.

This shop just did my out of province inspection, and they were honest and fast and well priced. I will be going back for whatever my car needs in the future. My dad always told me, if you find an honest mechanic, KEEP them. :)

VERY GREAT SERVICE.

I HAD A BAD TIRROD ON MY FORD 150 4X4 AND THE ONLY TIME I HAD TO FIX IT WAS ON THANKSGIVING SINCE IM WORKING ALL THE TIME. COULD NOT GET THE SLEAVE OFF THE TIEROD AFTER TAKING IT APART. TOOK IT TO THEM ON THANKSGIVING AND THE GENTLEMAN AT THE FRONT DESK TOOK IT INTO THE SHOP AND TOOK IT APART FOR ME AND IT TOOK SOME WORK TO DO IT. I CANT BELIEVE AT THE END OF GETTING IT APART HE SAID NO CHARGE. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEM VERY MUCH FOR DOING THIS FOR ME. AND I WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERONE. TY RON.
